Binge Worthy Shows To Watch

You know what really sucks? When you watch a series that has had multiple seasons, you spend all this time watching the episodes and getting to know the characters and storylines, and then you get to the last one or two seasons and find out it’s sucks. It’s hard to find a show with lots of seasons where each season is better than the other.

I think of shows like Prison Break. Season 1 was outstanding! I can watch it over and over again. Season 2 was ok. Season 3 and 4 should not have happened at all. And I don’t even know what happened when they released the new season 9 years later… Or a show like Blacklist. It’s exciting, and the first 2 seasons were great, but it’s sooooo repetitive that you can pretty much guess what’s coming next. And I believe they’re on season 6 now!

So of the series I’ve watched I want to share with you a list of the shows I find worthy of your binge watching time. They’re mostly series I’ve watched multiple times. Not an episode here or there, but pretty much the entire series! Some of these shows are still renewing for new seasons, others are done. So hopefully those that are still being filmed can keep up like the ones that have come to an end.

p04lndgrSherlock (Streaming on Netflix)

This is my #1 all time favorite. I’ve watched the whole series about 5 times already. No regrets. Granted each season has 3 episodes, but they’re all about an hour or an hour and a half long. Like mini movies. But if you like crime or detective type shows, this one is for you. Also, if you love Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, this show is for you. I happen to like all of the above 😁

Rumor is that they want to film another season, but they’re not sure. Both Benedict and Martin are really busy with other projects, so they don’t know when they can get the 2 together again to shoot.

Everyone on planet earth has heard of GOT, but not everyone has watched it. Why? Don’t know… might have to do with all the provocative scenes… to put it nicely. But if you can get past it, you will become addicted because almost 👏🏼 Every 👏🏼 Single 👏🏼 Episode has you sitting at the edge of your seat. Another show I’ve watched multiple times.

My biggest issue with this show is that in my opinion they murdered season 8… Every season was PERFECT until they released season 8. Not by the way it ended, just because it felt rushed. For a show so thought out with so much detail, they kind of just quickly wrapped up each character and it left people without closure. Some people were happy, most of the fans were pretty pissed. You watch and decide for yourself.

FriendsFriends (Streaming on HBO Max)

This is a show that gets me laughing in every episode. They ended Friends at the perfect time. Although the episodes are short, they’re all pretty sweet. This is a show that if I’m in the mood for a good laugh, I’ll watch a couple of episodes. No complaints here other than I wish they did more!

Stranger Things (Netflix)

This Si-fi, Goonies inspired Netflix series is spectacular. The first season was brilliant and got so much attention because the cast was perfect, particularly the kids. Then idk what happened to season 2, because I honestly hated it. You have to get yourself through the first few episodes, and then it ends ok. But season 3 was so good and brilliantly done that I’ve been dying to watch it again! I just haven’t watched it again because of time. But if you like Si-fy, you’ll like this.

The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu)

I just finished this series and wow. This show is based in the future. Wikipedia describes this show perfectly by saying: “The plot features a dystopia following a Second American Civil War wherein a totalitarian society subjects fertile women, called “Handmaids”, to child-bearing slavery.” It’s a chilling show. It flashes back from present to past with some of the main characters. Hulu did a great job with this series. I enjoyed it a lot. The last episode of season 3 just aired on the 14th and it was epic. It totally wrecked me 😭 They signed for season 4 but no release date yet.

The Office (Streaming on Netflix)

Every episode is perfect EXCEPT for those that come after Steve Carrell leaves the show. And prepare for waterworks when he does! This show is for all the dry humored folks out there. Another show I’ve watched many times and always for the laughs.

If you do watch any of these I hope they you’ll agree that they are as good as I’ve portrayed them to be. If not, I apologize in advance. Let me know if any shows you find binge worthy that aren’t on this list.
